This section covers the prerequisites for using Performance Rigging in a project.

Before working with linesets, you will need to:

1. Confirm that your system meets the requirements and that the add-in is installed.
2. Make sure your model contains rigging families that the add-in recognizes as linesets. See Linesets for the parameters a family must carry.
3. Add a reference plane — typically at the stage plaster line — that the add-in will measure lineset distances from.

Once those pieces are in place, the Walkthrough takes you through a complete layout, numbering, and scheduling workflow from start to finish.
