Working with Linesets#

This section describes each lineset command in detail, in roughly the order you would use them on a new project.

  1. Selecting a Reference — choose the datum and associate linesets with it.
  2. Duplicating Linesets — lay out a run of linesets at a fixed spacing.
  3. Numbering Linesets — assign designations in distance order.
  4. Pinning Linesets — lock linesets against accidental movement.
  5. Syncing the Schedule — make the schedule match the model.
  6. Updating Locations — make the model match the schedule.
  7. Automatic Updates — keep the two in agreement continuously.

All commands operate in a project (model) document. They have no effect while you are editing a Revit family.
