Walkthrough#

This walkthrough takes you through a complete rigging workflow — from preparing linesets in your model to producing a synchronized schedule. Following it end to end is the fastest way to get comfortable with Performance Rigging before applying it to a live project.

You can work through it in any model that contains a few rigging family instances and a reference plane at the stage. If you do not have one yet, Preparing Linesets describes what you need.

What you'll need#

  • Performance Rigging installed and running in Revit
  • A model containing rigging families recognized as linesets
  • A reference plane at the stage plaster line
  • About 15–20 minutes

What this walkthrough covers#

  1. Preparing linesets in the model
  2. Setting the reference plane
  3. Duplicating and numbering a run of linesets
  4. Keeping the schedule and model in sync

Each page builds on the previous one, but every page also stands alone if you only want to review a specific command. If you get stuck, the FAQ covers the most common issues.
