Linesets Panel#
The Linesets panel contains every command for laying out, numbering, and synchronizing rigging linesets.
Enable Lineset Updater#
Toggles the automatic updater on or off. When enabled, the add-in watches for changes to dynamically scheduled linesets and reconciles their distance and location automatically as you work.
See Automatic Updates.
Select Reference#
Sets the reference plane that lineset distances are measured from, and associates linesets with it.
- Pre-select one or more linesets to associate exactly those linesets and enable their dynamic scheduling.
- With nothing pre-selected, all linesets within 50 feet of the chosen plane that do not already have a reference are associated automatically.
Duplicate Lineset#
Duplicates a selected lineset a specified number of times at a specified spacing, measured along the reference plane. The selected lineset must already have a reference plane associated with it.
See Duplicating Linesets.
Pin / UnPin / Renumber#
These three commands are stacked together on the panel.
- Pin Linesets pins every lineset in the model to guard against accidental movement.
- UnPin Linesets removes the pin from every lineset.
- Renumber assigns sequential whole-number designations to all linesets in order of their distance from the reference plane.
See Pinning Linesets and Numbering Linesets.
Sync Schedule#
Updates each dynamically scheduled lineset's distance parameter to match its actual measured position relative to the current reference plane. Use this when the schedule has drifted out of step with the model.
See Syncing the Schedule.
Update Locations#
Moves each dynamically scheduled lineset so its physical position matches the distance recorded in its parameter. Use this after moving a reference plane, or to push scheduled values back into the model.
See Updating Locations.
