Download#
Download Performance AV (Latest)
The button above serves the most recent release. The download is a ZIP archive: unzip it and run the Windows Installer (MSI) inside to install or upgrade the application.
Close Revit before running the installer
The installer cannot replace files that Revit has loaded. Close all running Revit sessions before launching the MSI.
Browser download warnings
Chrome and Edge may report that the file is "not commonly downloaded". This is a reputation-based warning that newer releases accumulate until enough installations have occurred; it is not a malware detection. The installer is digitally signed by Performance BIM, which can be verified by right-clicking the MSI and selecting Properties → Digital Signatures.
In Chrome, click the ^ menu beside the warning in the download tray and select Keep. In Edge, click the ... menu on the download and select Keep → Keep anyway.
What is installed#
The installer deploys the application for every supported version of Revit detected on the machine. See System Requirements for the supported releases.
After installing#
When Revit is launched for the first time after installation, it may display a security prompt asking whether to load the add-in. Select Always Load, or Load Once for a single session. The P-AV tab appears in the ribbon once the application loads.
See Installation for the full process.
Updates#
Performance AV checks for a newer release when Revit starts. Where one is available, it is announced once per Revit session, the next time Place Origin, Settings, Help or About is used. A release can be skipped from that dialog. Updates are not installed automatically.
Settings → License reports the installed version and whether a newer release is available.
