Geometry tuning values
The values on the Geometry tab are a tested configuration, and changing them can degrade the exported geometry. See Geometry.
The switches that retain a capture's geometry and views for review are on Application Settings → Diagnostics.
Where settings are stored#
Project Info and Capture Settings are stored in the Revit model and travel with the file.
Geometry, Speakers, Application Settings, License and Privacy are stored per Windows user and apply to every model.
Most tabs apply their changes when OK is clicked. License and Privacy apply immediately.
In the Family Editor only Speakers, License and Privacy are shown.
License and Privacy remain available
All other tabs are hidden when the application is unlicensed, so that a key can always be entered and reporting can always be disabled.
