This section covers the prerequisites for using Performance Seating in a new project.

Before placing seats, you will need to:

1. Confirm that your system meets the requirements and that the add-in is installed.
2. Prepare your Revit model with the basic architectural geometry needed for seat placement.
3. Initialize the project to load required families and store application settings.
4. Configure Settings to match your project's numbering and layout conventions.

A sample Revit project is included in the application's resource folder and provides a useful reference for how elements should be arranged before seat placement begins.
