Placing Seats#

Once the project is initialized and the architectural elements are in place, seat placement follows four steps:

  1. Place the row reference lines
  2. Place a focus point
  3. Select the appropriate settings
  4. Place the seats

After initial placement, two commands are available for making changes without re-placing rows from scratch:

  • Replace Seats — Replace one or more seats with a different family or type, with automatic row recalculation.
  • Update Row — Respace seats after the row reference line has been manually modified.

Seat labels and visibility#

Seat numbers and seat sizes can be displayed in plan using the commands in the Graphics Tools section. These tools manage the visibility of model text embedded in each seat family and provide access to seat tags as an alternative for linked-model workflows.
