Seat Placement Panel#

The Seat Placement panel contains the primary commands for placing and editing seat rows in the model.

Properties#

Toggles the Seat Properties dockable pane open or closed. The pane provides access to all placement settings including venue, section, row, seat family, calculation options, and focus point selection. The pane must be open and configured before using the Place Seats command.

See Selecting Settings for a full description of the pane's contents.

Place Seats#

Places seats on selected row reference lines using the current settings in the Seat Properties pane. After clicking Place Seats, select one or more row reference lines in the model and click Finish in the selection bar.

Rows are processed from closest to the focus point to farthest. Row identifiers increment automatically from the Starting Row set in the pane.

See Placing Seats for the full workflow.

Replace Seats#

Replaces one or more selected seats with a different seat family or type while automatically recalculating the surrounding row geometry. Seats may be pre-selected before activating the command, or selected after activation.

See Replace Seats for a full description.

Update Row#

Respaces the seats in a row after its row reference line has been manually shortened or lengthened, or after seats have been manually repositioned. Select one or more seats to identify the rows to update, then confirm the adjustment options in the dialog that appears if adjustment is needed.

See Update Row for a full description.
