Each seat placed by the application is assigned location information that identifies its position within the venue hierarchy. This data is stored in shared parameters on each seat family instance and can be used in Revit schedules and tags.

The location hierarchy is:

Level Description
Venue The room or space containing the seating area
Section A named group of rows within a venue
Row Identifier The row designation (letter or number) within a section
Seat Number The individual seat's number within the row

Understanding how venues, sections, rows, and seat numbers relate to one another helps in planning the correct structure before placement begins.
