What's New#

Version 26.5.4.0#

  • Replace Seats and Update Row now preserve elevation alignment — rebuilt rows re-host to the closest floor (or workplane) per your default elevation setting instead of snapping back to the host reference plane. Use this to realign seats after editing the underlying floor.
  • Added new UI for add-in version validation and download: if the add-in detects an update is available, it will display a notification in the ribbon with a link to download the latest release.

Version 26.5.0.0#

  • New help system with contextual links from the ribbon and dialogs.
  • Added a Walkthrough section to the docs covering initial setup and the first few rows.
  • Product is now branded as Performance Seating throughout the UI and AppData settings folder.
  • Various bug fixes.

Version 26.3.0.0#

  • Added Update Row command: respaces an existing row, or shrinks/expands the seat count to fit the row length.
  • Added an Update Row Identifier option to refresh row identifiers for selected seats based on their current location.
  • New project documents auto-create a default Section-1 so you can start placing rows immediately.

Version 26.2.1.0#

  • Implemented new build system supporting simultaneous compilation for Revit 2022–2026.
  • Added Replace Seats command: replace one or more selected seats with a different family or type while preserving row geometry and automatically recalculating neighboring seats.
  • Added ability to locate floors categorized as Generic Models or Specialty Equipment for elevation alignment.

Version 26.1.1.0#

  • Initial release on updated build system.
